Who We Are
Shreya Hearing Clinic (“we,” “us,” “our”) runs this website at https://shreyahearingclinics.com, along with our clinic locations across Karnataka and Telangana. This page explains what information we collect when you visit our site, fill out a form, message us on WhatsApp, or call us, and what we do with it
If anything here is unclear, just reach out using the contact details at the bottom of this page. By using our website, you’re agreeing to the practices described below.
What Information We Collect
When you reach out to us
If you fill out an appointment or enquiry form, message us on WhatsApp, call the clinic, or ask about a specific location, you’re typically giving us things like your name, mobile number, email address, the city or clinic you’re interested in, your appointment preferences, and whatever else you choose to write in your message.
About your hearing health
We’re a hearing healthcare provider, so naturally some visitors share details about their hearing concerns, hearing history, past reports, or hearing aids when they write to us, often in the free-text box of an enquiry form. When that happens, we only use it to respond to you, schedule your appointment, and provide our services. We don’t ask for medical history beyond what’s genuinely needed to book an appointment, and we don’t route that kind of information through our analytics or advertising tools.
What we pick up automatically
Like most websites, ours automatically picks up some technical information when you visit, your IP address, browser and device type, your internet service provider, the time of your visit, which page sent you here, and which pages you looked at. This isn’t tied to your identity; it’s mainly there to help us understand how the site is being used and to keep it running well.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar tools to run the site, remember your preferences, see how the site performs, and measure how well our advertising is working. That covers a few categories, essential cookies the site needs to function, analytics cookies, advertising cookies, and general functionality cookies. Some of these come from third-party tools we use, like Google Analytics and Meta’s advertising tools.
You’re free to turn cookies off through your browser settings any time, though some parts of the site may not work as smoothly if you do.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how people move through our site and where we can improve it. It picks up things like device and browser type, your rough location, which pages you visited, and how you got here. We don’t send it your name, phone number, email, or anything else that would directly identify you.
Google Tag Manager
This is just the system we use behind the scenes to manage the various tracking tags on our site, it doesn’t collect data on its own, but the tools it deploys (like the ones above) may, as described elsewhere on this page.
Meta Pixel and Meta Business Tools
We also use Meta’s advertising tools to measure how our campaigns are performing and understand how people interact with our site after clicking an ad. These tools can pick up your browser and device details, IP address, the pages you visited, where you came from, and general activity on our site.
We don’t build our tracking to send medical or health-condition details through these tools, and we check in on this periodically to stay in line with Meta’s requirements for healthcare advertisers. Meta handles whatever it collects according to its own policies, you can read those at facebook.com/privacy/policy.
How We Use What We Collect
Mainly, it comes down to: responding to your enquiry, booking and managing your appointment, actually providing our hearing care services, and keeping in touch with you. Beyond that, we use it to run and improve the website, understand how people use it, build new features, occasionally send you updates or offers, and watch out for fraud.
Who We Share It With
We work with service providers who help us run our website and business, such as hosting, appointment scheduling, communication tools, analytics, and advertising platforms, and we share what’s necessary with them to do their job. We’ll also share information if the law requires it, or if it’s needed to protect our rights, our patients, or our property.
We don’t sell your personal information. Full stop.
How Long We Keep It
We hold on to your information for as long as it’s reasonably needed, to provide our services, respond to your questions, keep proper business and patient records, meet our legal obligations, and handle any disputes that come up. Exactly how long depends on what the information is and why we collected it in the first place.
Keeping It Secure
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from being accessed, changed, disclosed, or lost without authorization. That said, no system connected to the internet is ever 100% secure, so we can’t promise a guarantee, but we take this seriously.
Your Rights
Depending on where you’re located and what law applies, you generally have the right to ask what information we hold about you, correct anything that’s wrong, have it deleted, withdraw consent where we relied on it, and object to or limit how we process it. If you’d like to exercise any of these, contact us below, we may need to confirm your identity first before we act on the request.
For Visitors in India
We handle personal data in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and the rules that come with it. Where we need your consent, we ask for it properly and explain what it’s for. You have the same kinds of rights here as described above, access, correction, deletion, withdrawing consent, and raising concerns through our grievance process below.
A Note on Children
We’d encourage parents to keep an eye on their kids’ online activity. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through our website. If you think a child has shared information with us without the right consent, let us know and we’ll take care of it.
Other Websites
Our site sometimes links out to other websites. Once you leave our site, this policy no longer applies, it’s worth checking their privacy policy too.
If This Policy Changes
We may update this page from time to time as our practices evolve. Whenever we do, we’ll update the “Last Updated” date above, so it’s worth checking back occasionally.
